About Me

I am what is known as a portfolio musician. I am singer-songwriter/ classical guitarist/ educator and composer in the New York City and Greater tri-state area. I’ve performed at numerous venues over the last 17 years. The Westermann hall, the founder’s room at The Paramount on Long Island, Tappan Hall, Abigail Krisch in upstate New York. The Velvet Lounge, 89 North, and the famous venue The Bitter End located in the heart Greenwhich Village, in New York City Just to name a few.
In 2021 I had the privilage of reciveing a request by Gary Melius to be the resident musician at Oheka Castle, one of the historic landmark estates of Long island. I have performed at the castle every Saturday from 7-930 pm for the Restaurant and all of the holidays for my residency for over five years now. Being a working musician has been my greatest privilege. Due to growing up in a musical household I have always been acutely aware of music’s ability to connect people and enlarge peoples lived experience. Music was always something that kept me grounded. It was Because of this that I often feel like I didn’t choose to be a musician so much as was called to it.
As much as all music lovers talk about how music has helped them through their darkest times, what I am always in awe of is how it doesn’t just help us through tumultuous times in our lives but actually enhances the Incredible ones. there is nothing I enjoy more then after I perform having people tell me how the music helped elevate their evening or special days. whether I am performing classical guitar, originals, covers, or arrangements; when I have the opportunity to help enhance someone’s rehearsal dinner, wedding day, family reunion, or visit to the Tri-state area, it is a privilege I never cease to be grateful for. Of all the different things I do as a musician; the two things I value most is being able to help my listeners have a great experience, and the friendships I make with them; and getting to serve as a mentor for all the young musicians I teach when I am not performing.
My students have received full scholarships to Fredonia, Adelphi, and numerous other universities and schools on the east coast. what I really value the most with my students though is getting to be a mentor to them. when a parent reaches out to thank me for being a positive influence in their child’s life, there is nothing better. I now get to be the mentor I didn’t have growing up to others and help pass on the gift of music to all of them. music has given me a life beyond my wildest dreams.
Please see examples of my work on the next page and be sure to follow me on socials, so you can stay informed on all my upcoming gigs. if you have any booking or inquiries about gigs or lessons you can reach me through the phone number and email on my contact page.
